Emergence of Old Age Homes in India
OLD AGE HOMES
Old Age Homes in INDIA are in trend these days. An Old Age Home is usually the place or a home for those old people who have no one to look after them or those who have been thrown out of their homes by their own children.
How sad is this and how bad is that when children are small enough to fulfill their own needs at that point of time their parents take care of them but when these small children grow up and start earning and they are capable enough to fulfill
their needs and a time comes when their parents needs the support of their children and instead of caring them these people send their aged and helpless parents to these Old Age Homes and at that point old age homes provide them shelter.
But we should also consider every aspect of Old Age Homes. If a person is alone and there is no one to take care of him in his family then they move in old age home so that he or she will be kept in a proper manner and each and every need of him will be fulfilled in proper manner.
In today’s world when many of them throw their parents out of their homes in that case old age home are the best option for those helpless parents who could spend their rest of life. In metro cities since last few years a thing has been come into the notice of everyone that many people move to old age home when they notice the ignorance or the bad behavior by their children. Many years back in Mumbai there was a case noticed where an old man decided to donate his whole life’s earning to an old age home and also to shift there when his son left him and shifted to America.
This is my perception that if your children doesn’t take care of you and start living separately then you should donate your earning to an old age home for a better cause and start living with their age group people.
Many people consider old age home as a bad thing but before being so judgmental put your own self in to the condition of those who are living with their children are been treated as their slaves and some time also being beaten up by their own children you will itself get the answer. Just be a critical thinker in every decision of your life you will surely get the right answer be it in any part of your life….
